Reflection:

I think this quote is pretty great. He is saying to always tell the truth no matter what. He is also saying that you have to be right all the time but in reality nobody is right 100% of the time and that is where I disagree with this quote a little.

April Fool’s Day

2. The purpose of April Fool’s is so that people could play practical jokes on each other and have fun.

Health Sciences Librarian

Duties and Responsibilities:

Health Sciences Librarians provide access to medical info about anything that you can read, for example a book, pamphlet or the internet. They help a variety of people sort through the vast amount of info available

Salary:

A Health Sciences Librarian can make about $58,000 a year.

Education:

To become a Health Sciences Librarian you’ll need to graduate from high school take English, math, typing, science classes and 4 year bachelor’s degree is then required, you will need to take computer science courses. You will also need a master’s degree in library science (MLS) in mandatory.

Reflection:

What Tyler is saying is that if you work hard that you will achieve anything you want, he worked hard every day and became the best basketball player that BYU is ever seen. This can motivate a lot of people to always work hard and good things will come their way. 

Blood Forensics

Duties and Responsibilities:

A Blood Forensics expert has to use blood splatter of a crime scene to interrupt what went down on the scene as it was happening. They also try to determine what kind of weapon was used on the scene of the crime.

Salary:

A Blood Forensics expert makes about $47,680 or more every year.

Education:

To become a Blood Forensics technician you’ll need a Bachelor’s or the associate’s degree in biology, anatomy, criminology or constitutional law.

Reflection:

I would actually like to be this because I would get experience with blood patterns and it would help me solve cases and get me familiar with the type of blood patterns left behind so I can try to find out what weapon was used on a scene.

Cycling

I like Track Cycling. It is my sport and my hobby. Cycling is very expensive, you're constantly having to buy new things for your bike. Sometimes you don't even need them, sometimes its all about who's got what. For example I just bought a new Mavic Aksium rim but did I need it? No I did not, I bought it so it could make my bike look better. My goal in cycling is to be one sponsored and be in a cycling team, also to race in the Velodrome. Cycling requires for you to be fast, strong, have stamina, and endurance. In order to do that you must have your body in tip top shape or else you won't really make it in the world of cycling. My favorite track cyclist has to be Nate Koch he is on team Nater he races in the Velodrame and keeps his body in shape, he is going to be in the the 2016 Olympics and I wish I can reach the greatness he has. My dream bike will have to be a Cervelo P3 it's worth about $3,300 new. Once I have that frame set I will be satisfied with the frame but I will not stop until I have all the best parts for it out there. Right now I have an Unknown Singularity, its nothing compared to the Cervelo P3 but one day I will get myself my dream frame.

Careers in other countries

1.      In Thailand they also need several of volunteers to help locals with basic medical treatments, or educating villagers in a different community on how to try and preventable diseases.

2.      In Florida there is few are a lot of careers that require you to know things about medicine to help others.

3.      In Peru there are several medical volunteer programs because there are a lot of people with diseases, Illnesses, and viruses and they don’t have basic healthcare.

Reflection: I would not like to work in another country because for some reason I don't want to leave Los Angeles, although I would like to visit other places I wouldn't want to live there.

Reflection:

I agree with this statement because if you’re out doing dumb things then your freedom will be taken away from you. If you are out doing what’s right then you’ll keep your freedom and won’t have to worry about the authorities finding you. So you should always do what’s right. For example if I got out and transport drugs I can get caught and do time in jail for that, or I can just simply not do anything like that and keep my freedom.

St. Patrick’s Day

1)    St. Patrick was an Irish saint.

2)   It’s celebrated to remember of an Irish saint.

3)    It’s on the 17^th of march because that’s when it became a public holiday.

4)   Green is worn to explain the Holy Trinity to the pagan Irish.

I thought the story about Keith the kid from Olivet middle school was very touching. The football team let this mentally challenged kid make a touch down for them. It meant a lot to a lot of people because the kid then basically became popular and known in the school. It meant a lot especially to the football team and the parents, it made one of the players cry from the fact of making that kids day.

I think this statement is good because its saying they people who truly accomplish things are those who do it fairly.

Volunteer Opportunities

1.      Health services Los Angeles

2.      Harbor –UCLA Medical Center, LAC+USC Medical Center, Olive View – UCLA Medical Center, Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Center.

3.      To volunteer you must be at least 18 years or older. If you volunteer here you must commit to six month of volunteer work usually done in one or two 4 hour shifts per week. Complete background check and influenza vaccination. Volunteers must abide by all patients confidentially service expectations and hospital rules and policies.

4.      You don’t have to be a high school or college student just as long as you are willing to help or thinking about a health profession there are always spots for new volunteers who are enthusiastic and serious about volunteering.

This statement is small but very strong because not cheating is very important thing to do,  if you cheat then you’re making people think you know something that in reality you don’t or you can win sport events dishonestly.

Oncologists are physicians trained in variety of cancer diagnostic and treatment procedures, for example they treat cancer patients using chemotherapy and radiation therapy.

Education:

Oncologist need to study at medical school and get their medical license.

You don’t really need a big education; you just need to know your stuff.

I wouldn’t want to do this because it doesn’t seem to interest me in any type of way.

What I thought about the video is what it was very heartwarming. The 15 year old kid wanted to make his father proud who was suffering from a really bad case of cancer. What the boy did was win a wrestling tournament for his dad, trying to make him proud before he passed. The boy got up every single day and trained hard, even when he didn’t have too, so because he did that he won the state championship. A life lesson I learned is that you don't have to win things to show you love someone you just have to show the love.

I like this quote because it says you could be the wealthiest person on the Planet but you’re mean and cruel you’re worthless, its saying that you could be poor and have a good heart but you’ll still be one of the greatest people on earth if you have a good heart.

Health Educator

Duties and Responsibilities:

What a Health Educator do is basically gives you tips on how to stay healthy and how to incorporate healthy activities and exercises in your daily life.  

Salary:

A Health Educator can make about $47,490 a year.

Education:

To be a Health Educator you’ll need a bachelor’s degree.
