By; Elvis Presley
If I could be you, if you could be me
For just one hour, if we could find a way
To get inside each other’s mind
If you could see through my eyes
Instead your own ego
I believe you’d be
I believe you’d be surprised to see
That you’ve been blind
Walk a mile in my shoes
Just walk a mile in my shoes
Before you abuse, criticize and accuse
Then walk a mile in my shoes
Now if we spend the day
Throwin’ Stones at one another
‘Cause I will think, ‘cause I will think
To wear my hat the same way you do
Well, I may be common people
But I’m your brother
And when you strike out
You’re tryin’ to hurt me
It’s just hurtin’ you, Lord Mercy
Now there are people on reservations
And out in the ghetto
And whether they’re for the grace of God
Or you and I,
If I only had wings of a little angel
Don’t you know, I’d fly
To the top of a mountain
And then I’d cry, cry, cry

What this quote is saying to me is that wealth isn't the things we own but how we act and present ourselves. I believe this is a great quote because its saying to me that being wealthy is when you’re happy and poor is when you’re sad and angry.

“You cannot do wrong and feel right. It is impossible.”
-Ezra T. Benson

What this statement is saying is that you can’t do bad things and feel good about them afterward. I agree with this statement because you cannot feel right about something you did wrong, but if you do the right thing you will feel right about it after.

What that quote is saying to me is that everyone needs to be educated to be successful in life. I agree with this quote because if you’re not educated you’re probably not so smart and won’t be as successful as a person who has been educated.
